A career built on experience, integrity, and a deep commitment to justice.
Paul Dedinsky is a 25-year veteran prosecutor who has worked in the criminal justice system for over thirty years. Paul received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison Law School in 1993, and his Ph.D. in Education and Leadership in 2012.
Governor Walker first appointed Paul as Chief Legal Counsel to the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) from 2017–2018. Governor Walker then appointed Paul to serve as a circuit court judge (2019–2020). With experience as a judge, as well as a sexual assault and domestic violence prosecutor who worked with hundreds upon hundreds of victims, Paul is acutely aware of the toll of the system upon victims of crime.
Paul has taught law at Marquette University Law School, as well as business law, legal ethics, and business leadership to undergrads and graduate students at Cardinal Stritch. Paul is married to Lisa, and the couple raised their three children — Abby, Charlie, and Natalia — in Delafield, Wisconsin.
